Images from Comic Con from a mobile phone
Next year I will bring a real camera but the low dynamic nature of them makes them fun. It almost captures the frenetic nature of the event.

Online Interactive Comic Tools
There are a few cool new tools for kids and anyone who is interested in making animated comics. If anything it teaches someone to save often. These online flash based software tools are a little buggy but very cool, especially if you do not own all of the software to create your own.
The first one SketchDog.com allows one to draw your own comics and email them. For younger kids there is the companion site - sketchpuppy.com . One can host and sign up for free. Make your own e-cards in fact. (www.sketchdog.com)
The other site perhaps a bit more robust especially with its behaviors that can be assigned to a character is Go Animate ( www.goanimate.com). They have a number of characters and templates you can use to create animated panels. The cool part is that you can click on the character and assign a behavior. One can also read your face into a character. This is the perfect tool for creating viral satire, web comics quickly.
This is the next phase in creating content interactively on the web powered by flash.

Great idea for a sci-fi horror film
I can imagine they did not find the mysterious object at the ghost town of calico .. indeed.
From Hollywood Hills to the Nevada state line, people reported seeing a fireball streaking across the sky and falling near the San Bernardino Mountains this morning, officials said.San Bernardino County Fire Dispatch reported receiving dozens of calls related to what was described as fireball moving at high speed and falling in northwest sky around 10:40 a.m.
Barnes said the department has "basically determined it was most likely not an aircraft and was probably man made or a meteor entering the Earth's atmosphere."Most of the reports were in Riverside and San Bernardino, but a few people reported seeing the fireball as far west as the Hollywood Hills.Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor said the FAA had no reports of any missing or down aircraft and the military had not informed the agency of any problems with aircraft or missiles. The Barstow Fire Protection District dispatched firefighters to near the town of Calico but found no evidence of a meteorite or anything else hitting the ground, officials said.
